SUEVON LEE is the assistant managing editor of the education team at WBUR. Before moving to Boston in mid-2022, she covered K-12 education for nonprofit news site Honolulu Civil Beat. She has also reported and written for Law360, the Ocala Star-Banner, and served as editor in chief of KoreAm Journal in LA. Originally from the D.C. suburbs, Lee earned her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Maryland College Park and her master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
