Stacy Schaeffer
Stacy Schaeffer joined EMC in 2005 as a director of Lean Six Sigma. She led a number of cross-functional initiatives as part of the Field Productivity Program, Enterprise Programs group, and Business Readiness Initiative. Most recently, Schaeffer accepted a position as director of Business Operations for Global Alliances and Service Providers. Before joining EMC, Schaeffer spent four years with Bank of America, most recently as quality and productivity executive for the Premier Banking and Investment division. She also spent eight years at GE in roles of increasing responsibility in operations, quality, and information technology. Schaeffer graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in chemical engineering. She also earned her M.B.A. from Rensselaer’s Management and Technology School. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a graduate of GE’s Information Management Leadership and Executive Information Management Leadership Programs. Schaeffer is the co-president of the Corporate Chapter of EMC’s Women’s Leadership Forum and participates in various women’s forums locally and nationally, including WITI, SWE and NCWIT.
