KRISTEN LaVERGHETTA is head of life science global internal communications with MilliporeSigma. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing strategic life science communications to inform and engage 20,000 employees globally. Previously, LaVerghetta served in a variety of communication leadership roles across MilliporeSigma, including head of strategic marketing and innovation communications, integreation planning office communications lead, and communications business partner for operations, finance and divisional development. Prior to joining MilliporeSigma, LaVerghetta served in several internal communications roles at EMD Serono, the healthcare business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. Before that, she served as a news anchor for the 10:00pm news on the CW and the 11:00pm news on WABI, the CBS affiliate in Bangor, Maine. LaVerghetta earned an MA in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University and a BA in psychology from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. @milliporesigma
