Dr. Kristin Gabriel
DR. KRISTIN GABRIEL is a board-certified neurologist with sub-specialty training in neuro-oncology. She has nine years of pharmaceutical industry clinical research experience, nine years of clinical experience that includes nearly four years of academic medical practice. Gabriel has been the medical responsible for phase I through IV clinical trials and the strategic lead for early clinical development programs. She has extensive experience leading the design and execution of novel evidence generating techniques that balance innovation with cost-disciplined science, as well as defining and aligning cross-functionally clinical trials and other data generation opportunities that address global and regional data gaps. During her time as an assistant professor of neurology at Temple University School of Medicine, she was an invited guest to give presentations at national conferences and featured on numerous radio shows discussing topics such as stroke awareness and brain tumors. Gabriel has been recognized for her excellence in leadership by the American Medical Association Foundation, the NAACP, and received multiple industry awards for creating stakeholder value, as well as demonstrating excellence and innovation. Gabriel currently holds the position of Senior Medical Director, Global Medical Affairs of the Neurology and Immunology Research and Development Institute at EMD Serono, a business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.
