CHRISTINE MAROULIS is currently the director of U.S. payer relations for the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) medical devices companies. Prior to joining J&J in 2002, Maroulis was a lobbyist at The Wexler & Walker Group, a bipartisan firm in Washington, D.C., where she provided strategic planning, direct lobbying and coalition building for Fortune 500 clients. In this role, she developed expertise in the healthcare industry. Her primary responsibilities were to create and implement strategies to help clients navigate complex legislative and regulatory processes, analyze the impact of legislative proposals on client businesses, and lead the development of public relations campaigns and grassroots coalitions in support of specific legislative initiatives. Maroulis received her MBA from Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, where she was a recipient of the Bryce Harlow Foundation Scholarship, and her BA in psychology from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. @JNJNews
