Cathleen Scerbo

CATHLEEN SCERBO is VP and GM of technology services at Liberty Mutual. In an era of digital disruption, she is responsible for building and leading a team in support of Liberty Mutual’s competitive global technology strategy and business structure with specific focus on services for the business of technology. This team empowers the technology organization with the tools, training, coaching and resources they need to transform the way they work and to build a fast, flexible and collaborative culture. Scerbo brings more than twenty years of technology experience, including leading through change as the organization embraces an Agile approach to software development to meet the changing expectations of customers. As the IT executive sponsor of Liberty Mutual’s Women in Technology employee group, Scerbo is passionate about leading and mentoring the next generation of women in IT. She also serves on the board of directors of the southern district YMCA of NH, and is currently training for her third Pan-Mass Challenge, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for Dana-Farber and cancer research, tackling 111 miles on her bike during the two-day ride. She earned an MS in mathematics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. @libertymutual
