CAROL LEE MITCHELL is senior vice president leading the Bank of America account globally at Mastercard. In this role, she leads strategic efforts to drive more Mastercard branded core and digital products in the retail and commercial bank channels delivering incremental volume for Mastercard. Under her leadership, Mastercard has significantly grown the consumer and commercial businesses and have established a role in delivering thought leadership and innovation to help Bank of America compete effectively. Prior to her current role, Mitchell held various positions within Mastercard, most recently, VP, senior business leader in the global prepaid product organization. Before that, Mitchell was the chief of staff for the president of international markets, Walt Macnee – now vice chairman for Mastercard. Prior to her role in international markets, Mitchell led the GE Money U.S. and Canada consumer card business within global key accounts. Prior to joining Mastercard, she held key leadership roles in the global payments industry working for companies such as Allstate, Wells Fargo & United Airlines. Mitchell earned a BA in organizational communication from San Francisco State University and an MBA from Notre Dame University. @mastercard
