PEGGY BYRD heads the marketing, audience engagement, and customer service functions for Boston Globe Media’s family of brands. She leads her team in developing initiatives to grow the organization’s iconic brand and to celebrate its storied history and commitment to serving the community, combining editorial-driven campaigns that resonate with current readers while also inviting new audiences in. Her unique experience and expertise in leading high-impact, award-winning campaigns drives the innovation of new omnichannel, cross-platform strategies to enhance BGM’s digital experience, subscriber journey, data analytics, thought leadership and new services. A graduate of Brown University, Byrd holds a BA in organizational behavior and economics. She also earned an MBA, with a concentration in marketing, from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
