ERIN McSWEENEY leads EMC’s global human resources practice, setting the people strategy to ensure that world-class talent drives EMC’s success. With revenues of $24.4 billion in 2014 and more than 68,000 people worldwide, EMC is a global leader in enabling businesses and service providers to transform their operations and deliver IT as a service. As a member of the senior leadership team, she strives to create the best working environment for EMC employees, in keeping with the company’s designation as a Top 25 global Great Place to Work. Prior to her current role, she led human resources for EMC’s product and marketing divisions, supporting nearly 15,000 employees worldwide. She also served as chief human resources officer at VCE – a joint venture of EMC, Cisco and VMWare, and now a full business unit within EMC. She served in multiple HR leadership roles before joining EMC in 2006. McSweeney earned a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire, an M.S. in business from Suffolk University and a J.D. from New England Law School, where she was the1995 recipient of the American Jurisprudence award in Employment Law and Practices. A licensed attorney, she is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association as well as the New England Human Resources Association and Society of Human Resource Management. @emccorp
