Pamela A. Wickham

PAMELA A. WICKHAM serves on the board of directors for the JFK Library Foundation, the Mass Conference for Women and is on the board of advisors of Alethea Group. She is a member of the Arthur Page Society, a professional association for senior communications executives. Wickham has held senior communications roles at Fortune 500 companies, including HP and GE, and was named a corporate officer at Raytheon in 2005. She stepped down from the company in April 2020.

During her 30+ years in communications, Wickham has been widely recognized as an expert in identifying and deploying new technologies to advance brand and reputation management. She was a driving force for adopting the internet as a corporate communications tool in the mid-90s, establishing GE’s first website at She leveraged that experience to create the company’s first integrated intranet, its online e-commerce platform and a ground-breaking e-mentoring initiative that paired “digital natives” with senior executives to accelerate the understanding of new digital business tools. In this program, Wickham served as the e-mentor to GE’s famed CEO, Jack Welch.

As Raytheon’s CCO, Wickham led the company’s award-winning development of digital channel communications strategies, including brand management, recruitment, corporate social responsibility and measurement. More recently, Wickham has been a pioneer in the development of data analytics tools and analysis to shape messaging and strategic communications deployment methodologies.

Wickham began her career at Porter Novelli Public Relations in New York, before moving to Ketchum Public Relations. During her tenure as a public relations executive, she represented business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients with an emphasis on consumer electronics, retail services, sports marketing and business-to-business manufacturing.

Wickham is the past chairperson of the Communications Council of the Aerospace Industries Association and served on the Board of Directors for Raytheon UK. She is the former chair of the board of directors of MATHCOUNTS®, a national math enrichment, coaching and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement.

PRWeek in 2017 inducted Wickham into its Hall of Femme, which honors influential women in the communications industry. ExecRank named her one of the 50 Top CMOs and Marketing Executives and, in 2015, she received the John J. Molloy Crystal Bell Lifetime Achievement Award by the Publicity Club of New England. BusinessNext Social on named her among the Top 20 Most Social CMOs in the Fortune 100. She founded and manages a college scholarship program for young women at Lee Middle School and High School in Massachusetts, and she is an active supporter of DonorsChoose, an award-winning nonprofit funding classroom projects for teachers across the United States.
