Chantel Waterbury

CHANTEL WATERBURY is founder and CEO of Chloe + Isabel. She is a life-long entrepreneur whose drive and tenacity has allowed her to support herself since she was just 13-years-old.  After a successful career as a jewelry and retail executive, Waterbury launched Chloe + Isabel in 2011 with the mission of creating a social retailing platform devoted to empowering the next generation of female entrepreneurs. Today, Chloe + Isabel has nearly 10,000 merchandisers throughout the country and the brand has been recognized in national media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Glamour and Vogue. Waterbury was named to Fortune magazine’s prestigious 40 Under 40 list in 2011 and Business Insider recognized Chloe + Isabel as one of the Best New Startups that same year. After graduating from Santa Clara University, she began a career in corporate fashion retail and over the next 15 years, she held executive positions at some of the most recognized fashion and retail brands including, Target Corporation, Macy’s Merchandising Group, GAP Inc and LVMH. This wide range of experience in the buying, designing and merchandising world has given her a unique perspective and knowledge in building a brand, developing exceptional product and leading a mission to empower female entrepreneurs through social retailing and financial independence. @chantelchloe
