Shivani Siroya is the founder and CEO of InVenture, a mobile technology startup focusing on complete financial inclusion for the offline and unbanked world. InVenture aims to provide simple money management tools and credit scores to offline populations in order to connect them to formal financial services and create a transparent and fair financial ecosystem. In the past, Siroya has worked in global health, microfinance and investment banking. Prior to InVenture she worked in health costing at UNFPA and mergers and acquisitions at Health Net and Citigroup. Siroya is a finance professional interested in uncovering the underpinnings behind financial markets and how risk is perceived. Siroya earned an M.P.H. from Columbia University, focusing on econometrics, finance and barriers to reproductive health services and also earned a B.A. in international relations from Wesleyan University.
