Nancy Chen

NANCY CHEN is a staff scientist in the projects and solutions department at OSRAM Innovation Americas.  Her current interests include connected buildings and data solutions inspired by a networked lighting infrastructure and ecosystem, with a focus on occupant wellness and productivity.  Previous projects explored applications of color-tunable LED lighting systems, user control interfaces, context-awareness and automation, as well as technology for next-generation metal halide lighting systems.  Chen earned physics degrees from the University of Michigan (BS) and Harvard University (AM, PhD), and is an inventor on sixteen patents.
