Meredith DeWitt

MEREDITH DeWITT is the founder and principal of MJD Associates, LLC, a boutique donor advising practice that supports private individuals, family offices and business executives with their political and non-for profit outreach and funding priorities. DeWitt has served as an aide aboard the presidential campaign for Governor Dukakis and Lloyd Bentsen.  She has worked on five US presidential campaigns, numerous US House and Senate campaigns, as well as six years as a legislative staff person on Capitol Hill. DeWitt has been an advisor to the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and served as a campaign aide to President Clinton, Vice President Gore, Senator Hillary Clinton, and Senator John Kerry. DeWitt was legislative director and chief of staff for Congressman Michael A. Andrews of Texas. In 1995, she was named the youngest chief of staff on Capitol Hill. DeWitt also worked with Governor Ann Richards, and served as executive director of corporate outreach for Wenner Media. She serves on the board of the Better Angels Society, and on the advisory board of the Camp Harbor View Foundation. DeWitt earned a BA, cum laude in government from American University in Washington, DC, and a JD from the University of Texas School of Law at Austin. @meredithdewitt
