JENNIFER BRIERE is the vice president, chief people officer New England at National Grid US, one of the largest utilities in America. In this role, Briere leads the people & culture team for the New England business. Prior this this role, Briere held various roles at the company including chief people officer for National Grid Ventures, vice president of US HR business partnering and strategic workforce planning, HR business partner for finance and lead various strategic HR projects. Briere has been with National Grid for over 10 years. She was formerly vice president, HR business partner for the sales, research & trading division global markets at State Street. Briere also held various roles in talent acquisition during her 7+ years at the company. Briere has a bachelor’s degree from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in business administration and a certificate of management excellence from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
