Heather Connor

Heather Connor is senior director of global medical and development communications at Merck Serono, the biopharmaceutical division of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. In the US, the company operates as EMD Serono, Inc. In this role, Connor is responsible for internal and external medical and clinical development communications, to further enhance the reputation of the organization as a leader in biopharma.  Connor has 18 years of experience in healthcare, having worked previously for CBS HealthWatch, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, the National Institute of Health and WebMD. She is a published writer, with her work appearing in WebMD Magazine, on FoxNews.com, MSNBC.com and other leading media outlets. She is a graduate of Emerson College and Tufts University School of Medicine, where she earned a joint master’s degree in health communication.
