Gwen Murphy
GWEN MURPHY is the vice president of storytelling for Cisco’s Global Communications organization. From communications intelligence, the management of the Cisco Newsroom and blogs, thought leadership and messaging, as well as digital experiences and enablement, the storytelling team brings Cisco’s stories to life. During Murphy’s 20+ year career in tech, she has led a broad array of functional marketing and communications teams, helping global organizations solve their most complex business challenges and achieve their most ambitious goals. Murphy holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. A Boston native, she’s happily called the Bay Area home since 1994. When she’s not at work, you can often find her hiking the East Bay hills with her husband and their three children, and when possible, in the remote fishing village of Port Clyde, Maine. @cisco
