Erin Brooks
ERIN BROOKS is Suffolk Construction’s vice president of community and employee engagement. In this role, she is responsible for the management and strategic direction for several company-wide initiatives that are focused on giving back to the community and engaging and motivating Suffolk employees. Brooks is responsible for the management and strategic direction of Suffolk Cares, The Giving Circle, community partnerships and regional community programs. Most recently, she established Suffolk’s engagement initiatives, including an employee recognition program, Women’s Network, Team Suffolk and engagement monitoring that consist of surveys and various working groups. She is also responsible for the overall management of the Scholar Athletes (SA) program—whose mission is to improve academic achievement through athletics in the Public High Schools across the country. During her five years at Suffolk, Brooks has led the organizational efforts for numerous other causes on behalf of the company and chairman and CEO John Fish. Fundraising initiatives include Brigham & Women’s capital campaign, annual events benefiting the Scholar Athletes program that raise more than $2.4 million annually, among others. Brooks serves on Suffolk’s community steering committee and is a board member of the Boston Private Industry Council’s youth council. Prior to working at Suffolk, she was the director of marketing and communications at Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation.
