Eileen Howard Boone

Eileen Howard Boone is the senior vice president of corporate philanthropy and social responsibility for CVS Caremark, the 13th largest company in the U.S.  In this role, she leads a team responsible for implementing a wide range of philanthropic and CSR programs that align with the company’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health.  Boone also leads internal and external communications related to the company’s philanthropic, community and CSR initiatives. She is also president of the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust, the private foundation of CVS Caremark. Boone oversees the foundation’s charitable giving and is responsible for creating and managing strategic partnerships with non-profit organizations that share in the trust’s commitment to provide greater access to health care in communities nationwide. Boone has been at CVS Caremark for the last decade and previously held roles in corporate communications, investor relations and community relations at major retailers including Office Depot and Talbots.  Boone serves on a number of philanthropic boards including the national board of Easter Seals, Crossroads Rhode Island, the Meeting Street School and is on the Hasbro Children’s Hospital advisory council.  She is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and earned her M.B.A. from Fordham University in marketing and finance.
