Cynthia Johnson
CYNTHIA JOHNSON is the VP of global data center sales at Cisco. In this role, she is charged with developing and leading growth strategies that drive revenues and open new markets across Cisco’s compute, cloud, converged infrastructure, software, and enterprise application portfolio of solutions. Most recently Johnson has led all aspects of sales enablement and strategy for Hyperflex and Metapod, using her experience of successfully launching new products to drive momentum and adoption across both partners and customers. An expert at enlisting buy-in, Cynthia drives successful outcomes by inspiring others to do more and be more, believing first in themselves. In her more than ten year tenure at Cisco, Johnson has held a number of sales leadership positions. Prior to joining Cisco, she held sales positions at Merisel, Siebel CRM Systems, and Sun Microsystems. Johnson frequently blogs on the importance of leadership, diversity, mentoring, and managing change. She is an advocate of social media and has been featured as a Pulse contributor on LinkedIn, where she enjoys a global following, while actively encouraging discussion and engagement.
