Connie Weaver
CONNIE WEAVER is executive vice president and chief marketing officer at TIAA-CREF, a Fortune-100 global company that provides full-service financial services and specializes in the needs of those who work in the academic, research, medical and cultural fields. In this role, she has transformed the marketing organization by launching numerous strategic initiatives to build the brand, forge stronger ties with an evolving customer base and create a unique, end-to-end client experience. Weaver is a member of the company’s executive committee and leads an organization of nearly 500 employees. Weaver serves on several boards, including The University of Connecticut Foundation, the University of Saint Joseph, The Advertising Council, Westchester Group Investment Management Holding Company and The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts. She also previously served on the board of Primark Corp., and chaired its audit committee. Weaver earned a B.S. with honors in textile science and marketing from the University of Maryland and has completed post-graduate financial management, marketing and strategic planning courses at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Stanford University and IMEDE (Switzerland). @tc_talks
