Carolyn Fischer

Carolyn Fischer is the vice president of global talent management for TJX Companies located in Framingham, Massachusetts. The TJX Companies, Inc. is the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. and worldwide. With more than $27 billion in revenues in 2013, 3,500 stores worldwide and over 180,000 associates, the company ranks 125 in the most recent Fortune 500 listings. Fischer runs the Global Talent Management Center of Expertise for TJX Companies which includes the talent planning process, succession planning, leadership assessments, executive coaching, leadership and high potential development and instructional design. Additionally, she and her team lead the design and development efforts for TJX University which is dedicated to teaching the off-price operating model to line leaders. Fischer acts as a consultant to senior and executive management on strategic business issues involving talent management, the acceleration of readiness for the top 20 executives in the organization and also facilitates targeted organizational improvement interventions. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field of human resources, specifically in executive and organizational development, training and development and employee communications. Fischer earned a B.S. in management from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and an M.S. in organizational development and leadership from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA. @tjxco
