We received this nice email last week about our Mentor Match program, which takes place in the Conference Career Pavilion. During Mentor Match, conference attendees are matched with a local professional/executive/life coach for a 20-minute, one-on-one coaching session.
“I had the pleasure of connecting with an attendee at the last Conference (she was actually my first match of the afternoon). It just so happened that she was looking to make a career transition into the field that my company works in. I offered her the opportunity to connect with me following the Conference so that I could set her up with an informational interview. Long story short, we were able to hire her into an open position in late May! She’s really excited to be part of our team and I’m thrilled that we were initially introduced at the Conference! I am an advocate of building and maintaining a network and I wanted to share this success story in the hopes that you and your team track this type of information.”
