Megan Wherry Menner

Megan Wherry Menner is vce president and head of human resources international for Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.  In this role she is responsible for more than 300 human resources colleagues in over 60 countries worldwide.   Menner joined Merck KGaA in October 2007 as vice president of human resources for EMD Serono, a subsidiary of Merck, KGaA  with responsibility for all HR functions for 1200 US employees.  During her tenure, EMD Serono received numerous awards including Science Top Employer, Training magazine’s Top 125 and Working Mother’s 100 Best Companies in 2011.   Menner earned both her bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics and master’s degree in human resources and organizational behavior from Cornell University.  Ms. Wherry Menner is married with a two-year-old son and is co-author of The New York Times best-selling business book, “Power Sleep.”
