IMAGINE: IKEA Stoughton Furniture Giveaway Contest
Thanks to a generous donation from contributing sponsor IKEA Stoughton, the Massachusetts Conference for Women is hosting a furniture package giveaway to support organizations whose work aligns with the mission of the Conference — helping women and girls achieve their full potential.
In keeping with the Conference theme of “IMAGINE: Find Your Purpose, Make a Difference,” we invite organizations to submit a photo (your choice–be creative!) and a brief description (100 words of less) that represent what you IMAGINE your organization, and its mission, would benefit from this donation.
Organizations entering the contest must be registered as a 501(c)3.
THE DEADLINE TO ENTER HAS PASSED. Entries will be judged by a panel of Conference speakers and local bloggers. The total furniture package includes*:
2 sofas
6 loveseats
11 upholstered chairs
29 chairs
4 stools
6 bar height stools
2 coffee tables
18 side tables
10 tables
4 rugs
up to 18 cushions/throw pillows
up to 20 assorted plants and plant pots
(*while the above list represents the full scope of the package, final specifics are subject to change)
Contest winners must be present at the Conference to remove the furniture at 5:00 pm from the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Winner(s) will be notified several days before the Conference to make arrangements.
To Enter:
1. Submit a photo of how you IMAGINE your organization, and its mission, would benefit from this donation. Be creative! Include up to 100 words of text that explains your photo, your mission and how this furniture could help. Send by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 28 to [email protected] with the subject “IKEA Furniture Giveaway.”
2. Include contact information: name, phone number and email for organization representative (representative must be present at the Dec. 6 Conference at 5:00 pm to remove furniture)
3. Include the URL of your organization’s website and the tax ID # of your nonprofit
4. We will contact you when your entry is posted!
