A Conversation With Cindy Stumpo: Valuable Lessons on Becoming Tough As Nails at Work and in Life

Cindy Stumpo, star of HGTV’s “Tough As Nails,” is one of the most successful residential contractors and developers in Massachusetts. Known for building high-end, multimillion-dollar luxury homes, Cindy is a strong, independent woman who has made a name for herself during her 25-year career by being tough as nails in a field known for its male bravado and wise-guy antics. Despite her father’s warning that “girls don’t build houses” and the severe panic attacks Cindy suffers, she pursued a career in construction and is now winning awards — including “Builder of the Year.”

Listen in to this session and hear about Cindy’s journey on the road less traveled for most women. She will share invaluable lessons that she learned along the way for persevering and becoming tough as nails while inspiring you to go the extra distance to juggle it all and still remain true to who you are — even if it’s in a male-dominated space.
