Wendy Wecksell

WENDY WECKSELL is CEO of I Am That Girl, a global movement to transform self-doubt to self-love in students at high schools and colleges across 18 countries. She is also co-founder and co-CEO of Canvus, a travel club for lady bosses. Prior to starting Canvus and leading I Am That Girl, Wecksell managed the educational curation for Battery Powered, the giving program of The Battery, a social club in San Francisco. She honed her teaching skills as a teaching fellow for the course in exponential fundraising at Harvard University. Her career philanthropy began as the head of strategic relationships for Pencils of Promise (“PoP”), one of the most respected nonprofits in the country that was built by millennials. She managed PoP’s highest level relationships and helped steer the organization through its 400% growth from 2011 – 2014. Wecksell started her career in business development and storytelling at the Tribeca Film Festival, focusing on business development, partnerships, and VIP management. @wendywecksell @iamthatgirl
