Sara Conahan

SARA CONAHAN is the director of community and philanthropy at Suffolk Construction. She is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of Suffolk Cares, Suffolk’s philanthropic and community strategy. She works closely with the management committee to help build and cultivate important board relationships and non-profit partnerships aligned with Suffolk’s growth in an effort to expand its solid reputation in the marketplace and reinforce business relationships. During her tenure at Suffolk, Conahan has led the organizational efforts for numerous philanthropic causes on behalf of the company chairman and CEO John Fish. Throughout her career, Conahan has worked extensively with boards and volunteers at all levels. She has set the vision and executed campaigns across a variety of non-profits in the healthcare, educational and political sectors. She has over 15 years of experience in corporate giving, major gifts, donor relations, high-end special events and board development. Conahan earned her undergraduate degree from Boston College.  @suffolkbuilds
