Rita Kenahan

RITA KENAHAN is senior manager of professional education for Johnson & Johnson medical devices, where she manages nurse education initiatives.  Her scholarship focuses on the teaching and learning practices of surgeons and healthcare providers who teach their peers in a medical device educational environment.  She has written and presented on surgeon faculty development, mentoring in multiple contexts, and the use of improvisational techniques in leadership. She is a certified practitioner of Whole Brain Thinking (NBI™) and conducts presentation skills development workshops in the U.S. and abroad. Kenahan earned an Ed.D. in adult learning and leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University and a M.Ed. in instructional design from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.  @donateaphoto
