Patricia M. Flynn, Ph.D.

Professor Patricia M. Flynn, Ph.D. is Trustee Professor of Economics and Management at Bentley University, where she served as Dean of the McCallum Graduate School of Business from 1992 to 2002. Flynn’s research and teaching focus on corporate governance, technology-based economic development and women in business. She is co-author of The Boston Club’s Census of Women Directors and Executive Officers, published annually since 2003. She serves as co-chair of the Working Group on Gender Equality for the United Nation’s Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), which encompasses 550 business schools in over 80 countries. FLynn has served on numerous corporate and not-for-profit boards.  She is currently a director of Columbia Funds. She previously served on the boards of Boston Fed Bancorp Inc., U.S. Trust and The Federal Savings Bank, each of which was acquired. In the not-for-profit sector, she serves on the boards of the M.A. Taxpayers Foundation and the Innovation Institute at the M.A. Technology Collaborative (MTC). She is also a member of the M.A. Business Roundtable and the National Association of Corporate Directors/New England (NACD/NE) advisory council. Previously she chaired the board of visitors at the New England Baptist Hospital, and served on the boards of NACD/NE, MTC and the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston.  @bentleyu
