Dr. Todd Kashdan

DR. TODD B. KASHDAN is a world recognized authority on well-being, strengths, social relationships, stress and anxiety. He is professor of psychology and senior scientist at the Center for the Advancement of Well-Being at George Mason University. His work has been published in over 150 scholarly scientific articles and he has edited two books, “Designing Positive Psychology” and “Mindfulness, Acceptance, and Positive Psychology.” Dr. Kashdan’s contributions have been recognized through distinguished career awards from the American Psychological Association, International Society for the Quality of Life and the Association for the Advancement of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. He was also listed as one of “58 people who have changed our lives” by Psychologies Magazine. He has written two trade books, “Curious? Discover the Missing Ingredient to a Fulfilling Life” and “The Upside of Your Dark Side.” He has also given a TEDx talk on psychological flexibility, writes regularly for Psychology Today, The Huffington Post, CNN and American Express. His research has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today and CNN, and via invited appearances on the BBC, PBS and National Public Radio, among other media outlets. @toddkashdan
