Karen Keenan

Karen Keenan is an executive vice president, chief operating officer and head of State Street global markets internationally. She is responsible for the strategic alignment and execution of key operating functions across the division, including operations and technology. She also leads the global markets business in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. She is a member of State Street’s UK executive committee and European executive board. Keenan is a member of State Street global markets’ executive management group. Previously, she served as chief financial officer at Investors Bank & Trust during its initial public offering and its early years as a public company. She led IBT’s integration efforts and spent three years in a leadership role within the U.S. investor services division of State Street global services. Keenan is a director on the board of CLS Bank, and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Keenan earned a B.S. in accountancy from Bentley College and an M.B.A. from Babson College. @statestreet
