2012 Furniture Giveaway Contest

Thanks to a generous donation from contributing sponsor IKEA Stoughton, the Massachusetts Conference for Women created a furniture package giveaway to support non-profit organizations whose work aligns with the mission of the Conference — helping women and girls achieve their full potential. In keeping with the Conference theme of “IMAGINE: Find Your Purpose, Make a Difference,” we invited organizations to submit a photo of their choice and a brief description that represent how they IMAGINE their organization, and its mission, would benefit from this donation. Contest submissions were judged by a panel of Conference speakers and local bloggers.

Congratulations to our winners, the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence and Tailored for Success, Inc.

See the furniture to be donated in the Health & Wellness Pavilion and Bloggers’ Lounge at the Dec. 6 Conference. It includes*: 2 sofas 6 loveseats 11 upholstered chairs 29 chairs 4 stools 6 bar height stools 2 coffee tables 18 side tables 10 tables 4 rugs up to 18 cushions/throw pillows up to 20 assorted plants and plant pots.
